RESOURCES

This is a collection of neurodiverse contributors, and many are neurodiverse creators themselves. Of course there are many other great resources not listed below, but this list is designed to point the reader in the right direction, and simplify what can be an overwhelming resource list.

So without further ado, here they are:

Established Authors on ADHD, and the ADHD experience:

“How to ADHD” is a YouTube and other multimedia video series complied by Neurodiversity University’s Jessica McCabe with short videos overviewing what ADHD is, how it functions differently than other brains, and ways to work with your ADHD rather than against it.

How To ADHD

CHADD, or Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).

This is a great resource highlighting how ADHD is a lifelong learning difference, and overviews resources and support specific to your ADHDer’s time in life. This is a phenomenal agency that connects families, educators, and those seeking help together in support of neurodivergent learning!

Parenting a Child with ADHD - CHADD

ADHD (Autism and ADHD).

With Neurodivergent insights, Dr. Neff provides ongoing articles, information in easy to understand bites, all while she combines her background as a psychologist, and ADHDer. I particularly enjoy her weekly newsletter that helps normalize neurodiverse experiences, and gain helpful perspectives towards moving through life.

Asperger Experts

Although Asperger diagnosis has not been in the DSM since 2013, some neurodivergent groups still identify with the name to indicate level 1 autism. Asperger’s Experts use their lived experiences to help families know what not to do, how to help motivate, all from the perspective of the lived experience.
